For the first time ever, Nike has finally put Zoom Air in the forefoot of a Kyrie signature sneaker. If you’ve been a fan of a Kyrie signature line and it’s low to the ground field that provides a great amount of court feel, you’re gonna feel right at home here with the Kyrie 5 with an added benefit of Zoom turbo in front.

It doesn’t really offer too much bounce or explosion but does offer more than what we’re used from a Kyrie signature sneaker. It’s definitely a low profile version of Zoom which actually really works for this sneaker because it kind of serves a middle ground between a traditional Kyrie set-up and a traditional Zoom Air set-up. So if you’re someone who loves Zoom, this is the fast responsive nature of it but they also wanna feel extremely low to the ground. There’s also a welcome addition that is an awesome improvement. Of all the Kyrie signature lines that has changed over the years, the support of Kyrie 5 will pretty much going to give you a superb experience than any other Kyrie sneakers. Having a low profile guard friendly set-up, the rounded outsole which has kind of become a staple in the Kyrie Signature Series is awesome again. If somebody will ask about the Kyrie 5, the first thing that will definitely cross my mind about this sneaker is the traction. It has a really nice pliable flying pattern that will definitely make you feel super responsive whether you’re on and off the court.

If the Kyrie 5’s are anything, it’s a smooth sneaker. You can only imagine what this would feel like with full-length Zoom but even with just a unit in a forefoot, the heel to toe transitions is absolutely buttery. if you’re a quick guard, it will really give you the joy of playing especially in transition. You’re really going to enjoy this set-up. So if you’re somebody who wants to feel in control without missing a step, the Kyrie 5 should definitely be on your radar.
